Syrian weightlifting team obtains new medals in Arab Championship of Iraq

Baghdad, SANA – Syria’s national weightlifting team obtained new achievements in the Arab championship held in Iraq, having four new medals in the third day’s competitions.

The new medals came through weightlifter Ali Al-Helou, who won three silver medals in the 89-kg weight in the Clean and Jerk and snatch competitions, junior categories competitions, in addition to a bronze medal in the Clean and Jerk competitions of the youth category.
