Syria and Morocco discuss sports cooperation

Damascus, SANA – The Minister of Sports and Youth, Mohammad Sameh Hamid, discussed on Monday with the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Damascus, Abdullah Babah, ways to enhance sports and youth cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides stressed the importance of activating joint cooperation in the sports and youth fields and exchanging experiences to support and develop the Syrian sports sector.

The Minister of Sports and Youth noted that cooperation with Morocco will contribute to raising the level of Syrian sports and benefiting from Morocco’s advanced experience, especially in football and sports infrastructure.

For his part, the Chargé d’affaires of the Moroccan Embassy handed the minister an official invitation to attend the Marrakech Cultural Festival on June 30.
