Seoul, SANA- The new South Korean President, Lee Jae-myung, was sworn in on Wednesday, pledging to revitalize the economy and continue pragmatic diplomacy based on national interests.
Yonhap News Agency quoted Lee as saying in his inauguration speech, “I will be a president for everyone, embracing and serving all citizens without exception,” calling for moving forward with hope and a new beginning.
South Korea’s election commission previously announced Lee’s election after his victory in the snap election held last Tuesday.
